The Pain of Peaceful Protests

She didn’t deserve to have that rubber bullet shot at her. Knocking her back onto the uncaring asphalt. It wasn’t her time to die, the reaper decided after witnessing the empathy she held for others. She would survive the night with blindness as her battle scar.
