Bead Casting

Each bead
Shines like a sin
Shines like a virtue
It’s a rosary of values
Placed upon her neck
Dolefully held within her hands
She stands alone
In judgment
In hope
As she drops the rosary
Into the box
Collecting ballots
Like teardrops
For hopeful
Tomorrows

Poem I did for #PBF (Poetry Battle Friday) and #VSS365 on Twitter. The word prompts were bead and virtue.
